What is Mighty No. 9?

Ever since I was young I loved Mega Man. It is one of my favorite video games of all time. The whole series in fact is awesome. It's fun for all ages and it's something that doesn't take up a lot of time.

Lately Capcom, the company that publishes Mega Man games and content recently hasn't made any. Maybe due to the fact that Keiji Inafune, the creator of Mega Man left Capcom to start his own game company a year or so ago. Now he's back but not what you would think. In the video that I've posted below, Inafune says that he feels that he let his fans down with the cancellation of Mega Man Universe, one of his most important projects to date. He is ready to continue on his legacy with something new. Something the fans have been asking and waiting for. It's the spiritual successor to Mega Man and it's called Mighty No. 9.

At the time of writing this they have surpassed their goal of $900,000 and are up to $1,615,808! That is pretty incredible. The kickstarter still has 26 days left too. Seeing how fast it's already grown, I'm sure they will have no problem reaching their stretch goal to make ps3, 360, and wii u versions. Anyhow, check out the video below. I seriously can't wait for this!
